compairkodak DX7590 to nikon d50

is this a  smart move to up grade for the money , I need football shots for 3 more years. I'll take an average of 100 shots a night, these or sometimes dark, far away,
blurrery, or is this just a hard job to do any way andI should  just stick with my kodak?

Our page on the Kodak DX7590 has tons of reviews, and while most owners find it to be excellent, many do complain about its ability to handle low light conditions; others don't like the flash, and others still find the shutter lag too long.  But a 10x optical zoom and 6 megapixels is a good combination for shooting at a football game.

The Nikon D50 is also an excellent camera, as owners attest (click on the link to see our page).  It doesn't come with a lens, so you would have to budget that extra expense for a good lens to match the one on your Kodak.  I'm guessing you would be happier with the Nikon - quicker time between shots, better flash, etc. - but you'll have to justify the extra $550 for the camera and perhaps a couple hundred at least for the lens for these improvements.

If it were me, I'd stick with the Kodak.
