Hi,

Camera makers rarely list a specification for the upper limit of memory their cameras can handle, but I do know that the DX7590 handles 1gb and 2gb cards just fine, so I can't think of a reason why it couldn't make use of a 4gb. Many 4gb cards for sale on Amazon also list the DX7590 in their lists of compatible cameras. I'd say to go for it--worst case scenario, you have to return it for a refund.

Good luck!

Please dont guess if you dont know the answer. I have 4 GB cards and the camera will not read them. It says the card requires formatting, then cannot format the card even when it is already formatted from within my computer.

I have same issue with a 4GB scandisk card. I have heard rumors that Scandisk cards are not widly supported due to the way they are made..... maybe some more research required here...
