dx6490 error L-02 ?????

Hello, I turned my camera on and got this message. I turned it to another setting and pressed the button like I was taking a picture and the error message left The camera worked fine that day. The next day I got the error message again and now it looks like it is here for good. Tried the slap happy method but it hasn't worked! Any other suggestions?????

The Kodak site offers explanations of vairous screen error messages. In this case, the manufacturer reccomends the user to turn the camera off, then back on. If the message reappears, call the customer support line. The number varies based on what country you are calling from (link to the customer support numbers can be found here).

The Kodak site is Useless as are they. My camera is just out of warranty and rather then give 2 cents to them to fix a problem they knew was there I think I'll just go but a Canon or Sony. Wonder why no one wants to buy American products.
