NO PICTURE ON SCREEN

I have a LS443 That stopped working about 2 years ago I just can't bring myself to throw it away I never used it that much. When I turn it on it powers up the screen say Kodak easyshare LS443 then I can see everything I am supposed all the set up menu everything except what I am pointing tha camera at. I placed a sd card in it from another camera and I could look at all the pics on the card. any IDEAS?

Reset. Check for a firmware update. But if you can't see anything, that points to a CCD failure, and to be honest, it's just not financially feasible to repair it. The LS443 has a long history of failing CCDs with some calling it the worst camera ever after the CCD failed within months. Your only real chance is to contact Kodak and ask if there's a recall or service advisory for a faulty CCD. If there is, they may fix it on the house. But if not, better to spend the money getting a better camera as the average price of a camera repair is almost $200.
