I'm having trouble getting the video clips to run smoothly using Quicktime. Any suggestions?

The video is coming out distorted in Quicktime or either the program stops working. Is anyone else having this problem?

You may have to reinstall quicktime to get it to work. Or, more likely, it's just a crappy codec like motion JPEG. Try playing in another video player. Like VideoLan's VLC media player.

Serax, there's a new version of VLC player out. IT may help.

I'd also consider reinstalling Quicktime from a file and not the installer. Sometimes the window installer runs on the mo mo.

It records in MPEG 4, so Quicktime should be able to read it fairly easily.

I had the problem in my vista but it works fine with XP.I think it has something to do with the processor.
