need proof of purchase for repair

daughter bought digital kodak Z730 camera from HSN.COM as "Xmas gift"for me last Dec.2005. Need proof of sold camera with the serial No. on sales slip from HSN, otherwise, I have to pay, $150.00 for a repair that "would" be covered under the year warranty. Help,how can I get the proof with ser. No.?

That seems like a question for HSN.com. Did you register the camera with Kodak when you got it? The serial number should be on the bottom of the camera, but I don't now how you can prove you bought it other than a credit card, or registration card.
