Thank you.
I do not HAVE the P880 and wanted to know if Kodak has made an upgraded model with IS while retaining RAW capability.
I believe (?) the reply refers to the prior upgrade/download to decrease shutte lag and add buffer speed?
Am I correct?
Thanks
Dean

That's correct. I don't think they've upgraded the model to IS just yet.

James DeRuvo is correct.
I doubt very much they will upgrade it, to my regret as none of their other offerings seems to have raw capability.
I think the closest to it now is probably the 712.

I seem to recall not too long ago reading about a hack which allowed RAW support. But doing so would most certainly void any warranty you have.

It is a new one and I'm not sure it would even apply to your camera. But it's worth a Google search.

Many thanks
I learned something new today.
Kodak now says that the closest thing to the P880 is the relatively new P712, which although the specs I read did not show raw, is alleged to have it.
Many thanks to you for your ongoing help

If the specs don't show it, I'd count on it not being there. DOUBLE CHECK with Kodak.
