does resolution above 400 drop to .9 megapixels

in the consumer reports it recommends this camera if you like the slr type capabilityes at a modest price but it states it has a long shutter lag time and at iso settings above 400 resolution drops a whole lot. i was ready to go see this camera and buy but not sure. i take a lot of pictures today using film camera at 400 for action shots low light etc and now concerned about this camera. i am looking for camera that handles good resolution thru 400 iso and lower light and has some zoom. please comment.

Ann, the resolution always drops when you increase ISO. Kodak states that the P880 has only 0.8MP when using 400-1600 ISO. The resolution also drops using SLRs. However, SLR camera lets you to put better lens on and keep smaller ISO while using it in low light. Using SLR also minimizes the shutter lag time. So I would recommend you to consider getting a dSLR and a wide aperture lens.
