Good little camera
(CherylC - 2/16/09)I have to say I'm surprised. I didn't really care for the Kodak digital cameras prior to this one and was an Olympus fan. This camera has been good since I've had it. I think it needs more work on my own part to figure out some of the features to fine-tune things a little better. I got a HD 8mg SD card in it so I can take longer videos with still photos at concerts, games or wherever we are. It has frozen up with me once. I called Kodak since it's still under the 1-year warranty. I took the battery out. It reset it and it works fine again. I did get the 2-year extended warranty from Walmart. I usually don't do that, but I did it due to the touchscreen. I have two children and feared it getting scratched, etc. Most of the photos I took came out very nicely. It sometimes looks blurry before taking the photo on the screen, but then when you look at the screen once the photo has been taken it works well. I like not having to put in AA batteries all the time so the rechargeable feature is great and seems to last a LONG time (this is only the 2nd time I've charged it since December and I've used it quite a bit). I worried about the zoom since I do genealogy and had a nice Olympus zoom camera prior to this one that worked great. This camera works great, too even tho the zoom strength isn't as strong.
