What some good wide angle digital cameras?

Could you list some top wide angle lens digital cameras. I have a canon s60 and it freezes up once in awhile. It would cost more to fix than buy a new one. I am a real estate broker and use it for taking pictures of homes. The Canon S60 is two years old. What canon would be a good replacement or another brand? I need 28mm wide angle or greater. I would like to keep expense below $600. Could you list 2 or 3 that would fit my criteria.

Note- Kodak V610 is not a wide angle camera. Dual lense is used for the 10X optical zoom. V570 and V705 are wide angles.
