Great camera....for a few months!

When we first bought this camera it took amazing pictures and we loved it, but it did take a little effort to get them perfectly clear. Over time the quality of the pictures has deteriorated significantly. We can almost never get a sharply focused picture anymore and any pictures taken in bright light or with light-colored subject matter come out hazy, cloudy, or have a halo effect, no matter what scene setting we try. This camera was recommended to us by a friend who is also a V610 owner. He also loved his camera at first and is now having the same problems with his. I've noticed a lot of the negative reviews have stated the same complaint about poor picture quality. I used to recommend this camera to a lot of friends, I sure hope they never bought one! I am currently looking to replace mine.
