I have a kodak 4.0 megapixel digital camera and it is not working. It will not power on or anything. Any suggestions?

I was taking some pictures and it just stop working and i know it didn't die because anytime the batterys die it close the lens by itself but the lens didn't even close

Aside from a dead battery, if the camera won't power on, you may be looking at a repair. Try resetting the camera. You may be able to accomplish this by removing hte batteries for a few minutes and then reinstalling. Then try to cycle the camera on/off. The lens may be stuck or out of alignment.

But if you need a repair, undertand that the average cost of a camera repair is around $180. As such, it may cost more to repair than it is really worth. The rule of thumb is that if the estimate for repair is north of 50% what you paid for it, you're better off taking that money and buying a newer and upgraded model.
