Can u suggest me before buying a didgital camera, what r the features I should see?

Tell some good quality camera, like long battery backup, good picture quality, lens, zoom, etc..

There are many good camera that excel in some of the catagories more so than others. But you seem to be looking for well rounded cameras that have everything. Here are a few:

The Sony H5 excellent zoom and advanced picture quality.

The Panasonic Lz3 which has amazing features for an affordable price.

and The Kodak v610 which truely is FULLY LOADED.
