Camera shows that SD memory is Full

after I download the images and videos of my camera, and when I wanted to record videos again the Camera shows that SD memory is Full.

I tried to format the SD memory and the camera could not format it.

the memory is a Kingston SDHC 4GB. I tested It with a card reader and the memory is fine.

Please Help me to solve the problem
Thanks in Advance

Although it's fine in the card reader, it may be erroring as it tries to communicate with the camera. Try resetting your camera (should be an option under the Setup menus) and then trying the card again.

thanks for the answer

I´ve tried to reset the camera with the menu but it seems not work, because the only thing that it does is putting the defaults setting in the camera. and the time and date keeps on.

i´ve heard about letting it without batteries a while, but it doesn´t work.

please help.

You might be best off trying another memory card. Yours just might be erroring - not in general, as you said it works in the card reader, but something between the card and camera is not communicating. Do you have another one lying around that you could try?
