How do I get "Burst Mode" to work?

I have tried every mode, every setting, and the button that is supposed to make it work is only giving me a self-timer function. I've visited the KODAK site to try troubleshooting but I haven't been able to get this function going. The camera is a refurb, but I don't think that's the problem.

refurb shouldn't be the cause of the problem unless it is not properly done.

You probably noticed that besides the self-timer, the same button also control continuous/burst mode.

If you press the same button a few times and continuous mode doesn't show up, then only it is possible that the button is not working properly. In such case, the camera got to go back to Kodak for servicing. For all you know, that may be the reason the camera has to be refurb.
