Will this camera accept 4GB SD cards?

I just want to know if this camera can accept SD cards larger than 2GB. Thanks.

The physical size of the SD card doesn't change based on memory, so yes this camera will accept a 4 GB SD card.

Although the physical size doesn't change, the camera must be tested with larger memory cards and not all of the ones that accept 1 and 2GB cards will work with the 4GB. What Christa mentioned is a common misconception. The camera must be able to read and manage the information stored on a 4GB card- it's not about just fitting it into the slot.

This particular camera has been tested with 4GB cards and should have no problem using one.

No, it will not use 4gb sd cards. The camera accepts only cards formatted in fat16 which has a max of 2gb. You can partition a 4gb card into 2gb sections and then format it to fat16 but you would be stuck with a 4gb card that only hands 2gb of data.

No, this camera will not except a 4GB SD card. I recently bought one and tried it and it would not work in this camera. I did not see a firmware update for it on Kodak.com either.
