resetting kodak z612 please help!!!!!!!!!!

The Kodak Z612 will not turn on at all battery fully charged and terminals clean is there a reset button or any way the camera can be reset at all? the camera is borrowed from a friend and I don't really want to buy her another one if I can keep from it.

You may think that the battery is completely charged, but the fact is, that over time, Lithium Ion batteries do lose their capacity and as such, they will reach a point that, while they will charge, there's not enough capacity to generate the power needed to run the camera. Changing the battery to a new one usually handles this problem. Outside of that, it probably needs repair.

And with the age, it's probably cheaper to buy a new camera should a repair be needed.
