How do I know the quality of the lens on this camera?

I've been told the lens of a camera determines the picture quality more so than the megapixels. How do I know the quality of the lens on this camera? If there is another you would recommend, which would it be? (In the same general price range)

yes, the quality of the lens makes a big
difference in the quality of your pictures
for most people who take photos
about 6 mega pixels is sufficient for average use ie 10X 8 or 12X 10
other factors are the quality of the digital processing after the photo is taken the skill of the photographer
it is accepted by most people
that leica make the world best lenses for cameras. they are used by most of the
magazine and professional photographers
they are expensive
a few years ago panasonic launched the lumix range . it uses leica lens
the lumix range of camera are at consumer prices despite using such a high
quality lens
