The Ideal Camera
( - 6/20/05)I have owned my A-200 for over 6 months and have really put it to the test, and I have to say, I'm very happy with it. Bear in mind I have been photographing with a film-type SLR for over 30 years, and when I went digital I wanted something to equal or surpass my old Olympus OM-1. From portraits to those back country Cascade mountain shots, it does the job quite well. I noticed, in manual mode, it does a superior job, but if you aren't up to snuff on apertures and f-stops, aperture priority is a second best. Now that summer is here, I'm looking forward to lots of good images from this camera. All without the smell of stop bath and fixer. Hallelujah!
