Good results in general
( - 8/11/05)I chose this over a DSLR for size and weight reasons — my bag carries a laptop, still and DVcam: if it's too big it doesn't go. I've now taken more than 1000 shots in all weathers and can report that I'm pleased with the A200. The only real downside is the slightly wayward autofocus, but I've learned to cheat the system! The real star is image-stabilization which gives 2-3 stops extra in lowlight and makes telephoto shots worry-free. Simply put, I'd never buy a camera without it in future.
