worst camera I've ever had!!

Well it should have been good, it had a good name, and a good price £429.
This camera is very poor indeed, it looks very nice and up to the job, but it's not, it eats batteries, lithium, 2.8 amp Ni-Mh re-chargables AA's or those very expensive molded job's. After 4 or 5 pictures the batteries are flat, I had the good fortune to purchase a 5 year warranty, it has been back to Minolta no less that 5 times, but they still can't fix it, it came back all damaged once but still not working right, when it takes pictures they are poor, often out of focus, you have to use a good software program to UP the brightness and contrast etc before pictures are usable, I have written several letters to Minolta which are just ignored. All in all a bitter disappointment! Save yourself a lot money and grief, buy a cheaper camera from some one else
