I give the G500 high marks in styling, durability and overall image quality (Steve's Digicams - 12/17/03)

The Minolta DiMAGE G500 is well designed, takes good pictures, and can use either Secure Digital or Memory Stick cards. While it does not have an autofocus-assist light, the G500 still performs well in low-light conditions. Macro shots taken with the flash are "excellent." read original review

Though not a perfect camera, the Konica Minolta DiMAGE G500 can keep up with the best of them (DC Resource - 12/16/03)

Fast start-up time, short shutter lag, and "very good" photo quality make the G500 a very capable 5-megapixel camera. A confusing menu system and an "outdated" movie mode lower its score, however. read original review
