The Battery Beast that Died
(Bob Sweeney - 9/13/06)I knew I was in trouble shortly after I purchased the Minolta DiMage S414. It took great pictures as long as there was life in the batteries. I soon learned that the camera was a "battery hog" so I had to take along a separate camera bag for a battery of batteries and chargers. It was an expensive camera when I purchased the critter and the only saving grace was that it provided me with excellent pictures. The beast died a few weeks ago when it simply would not start. An orange and then a red light flashed at the viewfinder then it seems to have moved on to the next life. I am trying to find a cure but alas the critter simply is refusing to resurrect itself.
