My Konica Minolta DiMAGE X20 will not turn on using the on/off switch.

When I try it makes a bleep and the red light on the side flashes for a second and then it turns off. However, if I hold the menu button down it will turn on and all menu functions will work but when I press the menu button once more, everything turns off ! Any ideas ?

That sounds like a major power failure somethign that would need to be serviced. I can direct you to a sitethat works with Minolta a lot. They will be able to tell you where to best get it serviced or other possible troubleshooting options. here.
