70th Wedding Anniversary
( - 6/19/06)I was really impressed with the sturdiness of the metal body. I like the digital stabilization feature (and I am talking about the Z-1!). You have to play with the controls a bit to activate it, but once you turn it on it's great. I was able to do my aunt and uncle's 70th wedding anniversary celebration and scrapbook it. I didn't find the built in flash until about 3 months later after purchase, but that turns out some of the most beautiful indoor pictures I've ever seen. Another thing I like is that I don't have to sit it on a charger dock to keep it charged, all I need is 4 AA batteries.
I have used mine for family functions, school functions, art reproduction for computerized printouts, and for medical illustrations for school presentations. A wonderful camera. I got mine on sale for $299.00. I think it was originally priced at around $899.00 when it first came out.
Then the digital movie clips work pretty good. I was able to do some keepsake disks to send to friends who live far away from me.
