my Minolta dimage Z1 dont start any more with batery only with DC in who know what is the problem?

First of all I would try a new set of batteries if you haven't already. You may have just gotten a defective set. Keep in mind that if you're using rechargeables they may need to be charged before you put them in the camera since sitting on the shelf sometimes uses up the power.

Try wiping out the area where the battery goes with a soft lint-free cloth and make sure the batteries are installing tightly.

If you've already done this stuff you're probably facing a different problem that will require camera repairs.
