What the heck is the yellow bar in the lower right hand corner of the LCD screen?

There is a bright yellow rectangle which appears sporadically in the lower right hand corner of the LCD screen. It doesn't appear to be associated with memory capacity, resolution of image, or capture modes. It is approximately 3x as wide as it is high, and does not appear on the final images. It's driving me up a wall! What's the deal?

It could be damage pixels in the LCD, which will not affect your image. There is this device I have seen service shops use the correct damaged pixels like that it is this little light tool. I am not 100% sure that is what is happening to your LCD but it sounds right. Either you just live with it or take it to a service stop and see what they say. It shouldn't get worse or affect your image, but I understand how annoying it can be. Tell me what you decide. Anyone else have this problem?

Thanks Joe- however, the bar is not always there! At first I thought maybe it meant a full SD card or low batteries, but changing both did nothing! It just shows up sometimes and when it does, the camera acts like it is in "slow motion" and will take blurred pictures -all other times (when the "bar" is not there) it works great!!! Who knows???....
