Superb 4MP at sub $300 price mark
( - 10/27/04) PROS: Great image quality with its 4MP CCD; powerful bright flash; 10X zoom comes in very handy; very fast zoom and focus; great for stop action/sports photography; uses non-proprietary batteries (standard AA). CONS: Needs anti-shake technology at long end of zoom (available in the Z3); somewhat flimsy battery and memory card slide doors; grainy image in electronic viewfinder; auto mode is lackluster so not ideal for point & shoot casual photography.
