My Konica Minolta DiMAGE Z2 just quit working the other day. I changed the batteries and it still wont turn on. What's going on?

I have had this for about a year and it worked perfectly fine until yesterday when I took it out and turned it on. It turned on, but then none of the features would work. It took me a while to get it to turn off. I changed the batteries and it still does not work.

oh I hope someone here can help with this because I have the same problem with my Z2! Had it for a couple years and it worked wonderfully and then one day a few weeks ago it seemed slow, so I turned it off to put new batteries in thinking it was a battery problem; and now it won't turn back on.

Check the battery door. One of the three flimsy catches for the door could have broken off, making battery contact intermittent. Two of the three catches have broken on my Z2. I really like this camera except for the flimsy battery door.
