Konica Minolta Z3 will not zoom in or out?

The camera will focus,but the zoom lever needs to be in the middle to focus. It will not zoom something in or out.This all happened as I was in a hurry trying to capture some shots,it was taking great pictures and I thought I had the video on,so I was messing with buttons and the next shot my zoom was gone. Hopefully Its just a simple button mistake?

Could be. You could try resetting the camera and see if it clears it. Your manual should tell you how. Absent that, since Minolta/Konica is out of the camera business now, you have to talk to SONY about supporting your camera.
