Yes, they should interchange, but you may run into metering problems. Also, I wouldn't go with this camera, I would go with the Sony a100 or a700, which also accept manual minolta lenses. Hopes this helps.

thanks for your response i will take a look at the sony. by the way my lens are not manual they are auto and the camera has only been used about three times, would by a shame to not be able to use them. with a digital.thanks again.

I own a 35 mm Minolta Maxxum ST si camera with 2 AF lenses, would those lenses work on the Maxxum 7D ??
