I also have had bad battery life,switched to cr-v3

I could only shoot 10 pictures before I got battery failure.
I also lost pictures due to file corruption.
I switched to crv-3 and now I have great battery life but lost 66% of my pictures to corrupted flies,I could see the folders with names like 00zz000z00z, but couldn't open them.
I downloaded the latest firmware version 1.3,
and watched it say updating from 1.2 to 1.3,yes/no,
complete.
I noticed the menus have changed from 1M to 2M .
We will see.
I lost my second summers vacation with this thing.
I am going to use this thing alot before my next vacation....
