Best Value, Easy to Use
( - 6/24/05)I bought this camera for my girlfriend, who is not the most gadget-savvy consumer. I researched quite a bit and found this little gem. She loves it, as do I. I was extremely impressed with how great of pitures it takes. The price is by far the best for what you are getting.
Some pictures come out with a sort of haze on them, but that is easily correctable using Picasa2's "I'm feeling lucky" button.
We use it mainly in the automatic mode, it's where she is comfortable, and it works wonderfully.
Night pictures, set the timer. I think it takes good night shots while on a tiny travel tripod using the timer, so that the movement of your hand doesn't blur the image.
I would buy this camera again in heartbeat. What you get for the money (ease of use combined with great pictures) makes it the best value Point and Shoot out there.
