Great Pictures, wish it were faster though...

Been using this camera for almost 2 years. I love it. It has taken many great pictures for me and I have no major complaints. I love the colors the 4300 pictures come out in. 80% of the time the images are sharp, and I think that's a pretty good rating considering the myriad of situations that my camera has been put in.

My only real complaint is that I wish it were faster. Start up time, shutter delay, and readiness to take the next shot after the first one.

Oh yeah...my battery housing gave up on me during the end of the 1st year that it was with me. My mistake was that I always kept the battery in the camera even during storage. This must have weakened the plastic latch enough for it to give way. I spent about $50 to have it replaced and now it is good as new.

I plan to use this for several more years until I can shoot well enough to move up to a D50 or D70.
