One of two entry-level cameras from Nikon, the Nikon Coolpix 4600 offers point and shoot simplicity and an attractive price. With a 4-megapixel image sensor and 16 different preset scene modes, the Nikon 4600 is perfect for amateur photographers who want a high quality camera that makes decisions for them. The 4600 has a movie mode with no sound — if you expect to take movies, Digital Camera HQ recommends looking a the Coolpix 5600, which offers audio with its movies.
