less than average performance
(lorna - 9/10/06)The nikon 4600 is a fairly good camera except the shutter speed is lousy. it takes about 15 to 20 seconds before you are able to take the next picture. i took it to my nieces wedding and had to borrow someone else's camera because i was missing good shots while the camera was loading and resetting. in addition most pictures come out blurry you have to keep changing the setting to get a clear picture. most of all camera eats up batteries, but what i find is that lithium batteries are best for digital cameras. if you are buying a nikon 4600 be prepared for long lag time between pictures, blurry pictures and dead batteries in a short time.
