When you followed these instructions:
1) Program will then prompt you for an operation mode. Select "Recover images from camera memory card", then hit "Proceed".

2)Select your camera from the list of the attached devices. You can identify the camera by its media size or by the model name (if available).

Did you select the correct "attached device"? I'm just wondering if maybe instead the program looked for other files with pictures in that are on your computer. Maybe you have other files on your computer that contain a lot of stock photos that have come with software that you have bought before.

Yes, this is exactly my problem. However, the device I did select was the only available device, so I do not know how to get this program to detect the ScanDisk in my computer that is holding my camera's memory card.

That is strange. I'm not sure what the answer is to that. Have you tried leaving the memory card in the camera and connecting the camera to your computer to see if it detects your camera?

Do you have any software that came with the camera for you computer? Sometimes there is a driver along with the software that you have to install before the camera will work. So if you have any software that came with the camera try and install it, it may help.
