ironic twist
(a - 9/24/08)I loved the camera at purchase. Great little video feature, excellent in extreme close-up work. Then it fritz one day and displayed error msgs at startup. Interestingly (as noted in other reviews) this happened just as the warranty expired. Paid way too much to have it repaired, twice. It worked fine until my children took it on vacation and were involved in traffic accident where it apparently bounced around the car interior. Now no power... nada, zip, zero, nothing. I should have quit before I laid out the cash for the repair.
