Cannot see whats wrong with some users
( - 6/19/06)I have my coolpix 7600 for over 1.5 years and have to say it has never let me down. As one of the reviewers said "the faults with this camera are the users faults". This camera is classed as an "advanced" camera so if you could not be bothered to read the manual, how do you expect to be able to use the camera to its best if you dont know what anything is for. Battery life is good also. Mine has 2xAA batteries. If you use lithium ion batteries you will get 7X longer than your standard alkaline batteries. Many here have complained about the slowness of this camera. Sure, there is, for example, some delay when using the flash, but nothing out of the ordinary. If you want to catch moving objects put it onto "sport" mode where it will catch anything moving at any speed. It has a setting for every environment. For auto focus push the button down gently at first then it will focus. Then press the full way to take a focused photo. It is like anything you buy, by messing with it you will learn the basics but by reading the manual you will learn how to use the advanced options CORRECTLY. My coolpix has red eye elimination and have yet to print a photo with any form of red eye.
