Well presented camera, but....
( - 7/18/05)The image quality is very good, with clear sharp pictures, however, the menus are very complex, I would almost say inaccessible.
Weight is modest, nice look and feel, reasonable range of settings, but still not the most user friendly camera on the market.
8 mp help those who want large prints or do a lot of cropping. Lens is high quality with more than adequate zoom range.
In sum I would say do not buy this as your FIRST digital camera; get experience with a simpler one and then move up to it.
