which camera is better kodak easy share or nikon coolpix?

i am looking at a kodak 8.0 pixal and a nikon coolpix 7.1 pixal. i want to have the clearest pictures possible and good quality. what is my best choice?

As a pro and hobbyist, the Nikon is the choice, Hands down and undisputed.
With great Nikkor razor sharp optics combined with a Nikon high quality CCD image sensor, the CoolPix can out perform larger pixel cameras. You need to have the right balance for overall great performance. "You can't drive a fast car with a low quality tires".

Also, make sure that what ever camera you choose to buy, it has CCD technology and not CMOS. I shoot with cameras that have 150 Megapixels for professional studio photography, I see the difference.
