How to modify Coolpix firmware?

Images of slow moving objects such as pets or children alre blurry using L1.

Bad idea to mess with firmware. You could end up "bricking" your camera and because you modified it, you would also be voiding your warranty. You could use the Sports/Scene Assist mode. I have also noticed in some cameras that as the batteries become fatigued, that blurry/streaked images can occur. Fresher batteries solve this issue.
