Great Camera for the Price
( - 3/24/06)Let's face it, most of us want an EOS Rebel for about $150.00. Well, unless your dad owns Canon, you better take a harder look at what you can really get for this price. I believe the Nikon CoolPix L4 is the answer. For the most part, I need this camera for online sales with quality pictures, plus a camera we can take to special occasions and my wife can feel at ease about a point-and-shoot camera that is small enough to put in her purse. this camera is all that and much more. The smaller size is incredible considering the large viewing monitor which looks to take up almost half of the back of the camera.
It is truly easily operated, plus it comes with Picture Project, a user friendly program for your computer so you can transfer pics to your PC from the L4. You also have the ability to get more technical with shots, but for the price, what I have already used it for, it has performed above and beyond. I purchased a 512 memory card and this baby is ready to take 470 pics!!! With a video out, you can watch it all on your TV as well. The only drawback, if there is one, is that there is no sound with the video, but we bought this to be a still shot camera, not a movie making machine. so, we can still shot silent pictures (But at least they are in color!).
All in all, if you are looking for an all-around good camera, i would highly recommend this one.
