Incredible Point and Shoot
( - 5/6/05)I'm into film myself, so I only chose a digital because I needed a point and shoot that was slightly more convenient than a bulky SLR. I was really familiar with the Nikon brand (I own a Nikon N75) and have been pleased with the feel of their cameras in the past. This camera is well priced and has great features. The 2.5" LCD is very helpful, and the internal zoom (not digital) is very high quality. The balance is great and the picture quality is excellent. The only problems I have with this camera are that the BSS (Best Shot Selector) is hard to work with and always wants to use a flash, but when I turn that feature and the flash off it selects a very slow shutter speed which, with such a small camera, can lead to some bad blur in the pictures. I also wish that there was a completely manual mode for the camera, but the ISO selector in the camera is very nice. I would recommend this camera to anyone looking for a good digital point-and-shoot camera or anyone that is wanting to get into digital photography and/or digital image editing.
