My Nikon Coolpix S51 only allows one picture to be taken! It seems as though the focus function is faulty.

When taking a picture the "sensitivity" of pressing the shutter-release button "half way" to focus is not there. In other words it takes the picture instantly but in focus. After taking a picture the camera simply will not take another picture. I have to turn the camera off and back on to be able to take another picture with the same results! Please help!!!
