how is best buys nikon coolpix s60's

how do they act do they freeze up too and have short battery lifes also and can you take it back the next day if you have not gotted thewarenty plan

Well, you really don't need the extended warranty. These days, if a camera is going to fail, it's going to do it in the first year and you have a set warranty for that already. As someone who used to sell cameras, I can tell you that for most products (there are exceptions), an extended warranty is a cash cow for the company that sells them and the salesman who gets a commission (called a spiff) off them.

As for Nikon's freezing up or having short battery life, well, I don't think you'll deal with freezing issues, but your mileage may vary on how many pictures it'll take. It should average between 140-180 shots per charge.
