Will my A/F lenses from my F80 work on the D100???

I know the lens will fit but the auto focus will not work on the D40 or D60 but will on the D80 and D90...will the auto focus work on the D100

This question has replies but the author has indicated the question is still not answered after a long time. Can you answer the question, or post a clarifying follow-up?

D40 and D60 autofocus through electrical contacts to activate the motor within the lens itself.
Your A/F lens from F80 do not have built in motors. Mounting such lens on D40 and D60 will not give you the convenience of autofocus.
