Will my f80 A/F lens work on a D100

I was told by Henrys that my F80 lenses will auto focus on a D80....I have found a D100 and am willing to give up the megapixels to get into SLR digital as long as my lens will work...I was told that on a camera that the A/F doesnt work the lens will work in manual mode but will act as a higher lens...200 could be like a 280, but I would rather have the auto focus....Thanks

Nikon has great legacy lens support, so I'd say if they work on the D80, they'll work on the D100. Worst case is in manual, but I think it'll work.

Thanks for the help...even though the A/F will not work on the D40 or D60 I hope it will work on this D100.
