Do the standard manual focus Nikkor lenses work with this body?

I have an 85mm 1.4, 300mm 4.5, 55mm micro nikkor 2.8 and a 24 mm 2.8 that I used with an F3 back in the day. I hate to get rid of them for obvious reasons. If the D200 is compatable, then that's what I will do. Any input would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!

The lenses you're describing will fit, with as much information as you're providing. Before jumping right into the purchase, I'd strongly advise going to a pro shop that has this camera on display, and trying each of your lenses on it to be absolutely sure. Even a 15% restocking fee on this expensive of a camera is ridiculous. But you shouldn't have any problems. I'm just super cautious about compatibility.

Nikon D200 is compatible with every Nikon lens made since 1974. That should answer your question. But remember that if the lens are not autofocus, you are not going to have autofocus with those lenses.
ENJOY THEM!
Alan.

There is a Nikon camera-lens compatibility chart which you can refer to before making the next move.

In the chart, under the line D200 , you will notice a " No !" against both the pre AI lens and F3 AF lens

The explanation given is " No! " means ' Definitely do not use, for it may damage the camera body. Also, warranty will be void. '

Just make sure that your F3 lenses do not fall under this category and you should be 'OK' provided you do not mind manual focussing without the help of a split screen.

You probably will also have to overcome the metering problem because D200 cannot establish electronic contacts with the F3 lenses with respect to metering.

Beyond that there should be no other problems if your lenses are not F3 AF lens.

Is it the F/3.5 aperture one? Or the F/2.8 aperture one? I like this one, less light necessary: http://www.amazon.com/Nikon-16mm-2-8D-Fisheye-Nikkor/dp/B00005QIZ8/ref=sr_1_1/002-5479932-1176008?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1193677502&sr=8-1.

Also distortion free. Crazy expensive, but you should be able to find it used for ~$500.
