How easy is the D300 to use? Can beginners work this camera?

I am trying to decide whether buying a D90 or D300 would be a good idea. I am a real estate agent and need to be able to take very good photos to do flyers, virtual tours etc....

If you have general knowlege of DSLR photography and as I'm sure you are aware of the big price difference and if money is not an issue, I would difinately purchase the D300. It is an amazing camera! I personally do not like the D90...digital cameras are for taking pictures, not video clips...that's what video cameras are for! I upgraded from the D60 to the D300 and am extremely happy that I did!
Yes there is a learning curve but this camera is well worth it!

Personally, I think the D90's video capability may be a plus for you since virtual tours are now the rage in real estate. The D90 offers almost the same image quality as the D300 for the kind of shots you are likely to take, and offers a number of user-friendly pre-programmed settings. The D300 is a better camera, but geared more towards semi-pro types, imo.
